BALTIMORE �" January 2, 2018 �" Beth El Congregation (https://www.bethelbalto.com), a progressive synagogue affiliated with the United Synagogue, announced today the addition of Brandon Chiat as Digital Marketing Strategist. As the Digital Marketing Strategist, Brandon is responsible for communicating Beth El's unique story and growing the congregation's online community through social media, content development, and digital marketing. Brandon is a Google Analytics and AdWords Certified Professional.

Before joining Beth El, Brandon was the Content Director at FurtherInsights, an interactive media company. At FurtherInsights, Brandon showcased his expertise in audience and content development, overseeing creative editorial projects and interactive media campaigns for clients such as CBS Local and the National Aquarium. As a journalist, Brandon has contributed to various publications, including The Baltimore Jewish Times and JMORE. Brandon also consulted with startups to help them with branding and positioning, content creation and audience engagement, and inbound marketing strategies.

He is a creative individual with a passion for connecting digital communities, and we look forward to seeing him grow within our community.”

Brandon holds a dual B.A. from the University of Maryland �" College Park in Psychology and English Literature. While at UMD, Brandon served as Editor-in-Chief for Terrapin Sound, the university's digital music magazine and also co-founded the music blog Headstash.com. When not at Beth El, Brandon enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and playing guitar. He lives for live music.
